晏子英语绘本阅读与各位小伙伴们相约周日，上周我们和小伙伴们一起欣赏了Dr. Seuss（苏斯博士）的代表作之一<The Cat in the Hat>《戴帽子的猫》上半部分，接下来故事会如何发展呢，两兄妹和戴帽子的猫之间又会有怎样有趣的互动呢，今天的绘本将为小伙伴们揭晓哦！
1954年5月，《生活》杂志报导美国学生的语文程度较低，可能是因为教科书枯燥乏味，无法引起阅读的兴趣。于是，在兰登书屋的邀请下，苏斯博士与他的妻子一起策划了Beginner Books系列，用最少、最简单的词汇写成妙趣横生的故事。
他总结出400个他认为对学生学习最重要的单词给出版商，而出版商告诉他最好能用250个单词写一本孩子爱看的书。9个月后，Dr.Seuss只用了其中236个单词就完成了这本让人津津乐道的<The Cat in the Hat>《戴帽子的猫》（1957年出版），在读者中引起了巨大反响，也因此对儿童读本造成了革命性的影响，而这只戴着红白相间高帽子的猫，几乎成了苏斯博士的标志。

Dr. Seuss（苏斯博士），在英语世界里是家喻户晓的人物，二十世纪最卓越的儿童文学作家之一，全球销量逾2.5亿册，曾获美国图画书最高荣誉凯迪克大奖和普利策特殊贡献奖，两次获奥斯卡金像奖和艾美奖，他的书是美国教育部指定的重要阅读辅导读物。
他的书都是用少量的词汇写出了一个个妙趣横生的故事，故事情节荒诞不经，图画人物动感十足，语言押韵有节奏，适合低幼启蒙阶段。同时他的书也被教育工作者推荐给家长，作为提高阅读能力的重要读物。
绘本介绍
外面下着瓢泼大雨，妈妈有事外出，被迫窝在家里的康拉德和小妹妹塞丽正在发愁如何才能捱过无聊之极的一天，就在此时，外面传来了敲门声，“谁会在这样的坏天气造访？”心里犯嘀咕的两个小家伙开门后大吃一惊，访客竟然是——一只猫！戴帽子、会说英语曹杨中学。就在他们刚刚回过神的时候，这只戴帽子的猫开始向两个小鬼兜售自己的绝活，又是杂耍、又是魔术，正琢磨时间无法打发的两个小家伙开始以为这是件天大的好事，毕竟找到了一个伴儿。然而故事会怎么发展呢，这只搞怪的猫又做了些什么呢，一起来绘本中寻找答案吧！

And then he ran out.
And, then, fast as a fox,
The Cat in the Hat
Came back in with a box.
然后他跑开了。

A big red wood box.
It was shut with a hook.
"Now look at this trick,"
Said the cat.
"Take a look!"

Then he got up on top
With a tip of his hat.
"I call this game
FUN-IN-A-BOX," Said the cat.

You will like these two things,"
Said the cat with a bow.

These Things will not bite you.
They want to have fun."
Then, out of the box
Came Thing Two and Thing One!
And they ran to us fast.
They said, "How do you do?
Would you like to shake hands
With Thing One and Thing Two?"
他们是不会咬人的。
他们只想玩得开心。"
接着，小不点一号和小不点二号
从箱子里出来了玩伴猫耳娘 ！
他们飞快的跑向我们
说道："你们好吗？

And Sally and I
Did not know what to do.
So we had to shake hands
With Thing One and Thing Two.
然后莎莉和我

We shook their two hands.
But our fish said, "No! No!
Those Things should not be
In this house! Make them go!
"They should not be here
When your mother is not!
Put them out!Put them out!"
Said the fish in the pot.
我们俩和他们俩握手。
但是茶壶里的金鱼叫道："不！不！
那些东西不应该
在房子里！让他们走！
"当你们妈妈不在家

"Have no fear, little fish,"
Said the Cat in the Hat.
"These Things are good Things,"
And he gave them a pat.
"They are tame. Oh, so tame!
They have come here to play.
They will give you some fun
On this wet, wet, wet day."
"不用害怕，小鱼儿，"
戴高帽的猫说道。乌龟蛋
"这两个小不点是好的，"
他拍了拍他们，
"他们很温顺的。噢，很温顺！

"Now, here is a game that they like,"
Said the cat.
"They like to fly kites缘兮 ,"
Said the Cat in the Hat.

"No! Not in the house!"
Said the fish in the pot.
"They should not fly kites
In a house! They should not.
"不！不能在房子里玩！"
茶壶里的鱼生气的说道。

放风筝！这不可以。"

Oh, the things they will bump阳春羊奶!
Oh, the things they will hit!
Oh, I do not like it!
Not one little bit!"
"天啊！这些小不点会撞这！
撞那！
噢，我不喜欢那样！
一点也不！"

Then Sally and I
Saw them run down the hall.
We saw those two Things
Bump their kites on the wall!
Bump! Thump! Thump! Bump!
Down the wall in the hall.
然后莎莉和我
看到两个小不点跑到了客厅里。

Thing Two and Thing One!
They ran up! They ran down!
On the string of one kite
We saw Mother’s new gown!

Her gown with the dots
That are pink, white and red.
Then we saw one kite bump
On the head of her bed!

Then those Things ran about
With big bumps, jumps and kicks
And with hops and big thumps
And all kinds of bad tricks.
And I said,
"I do NOT like the way that they play!
If mother could see this,
Oh, what would she say!"

撞呀，跳呀，踢呀
弹呀，还有砰砰声
各种各样的恶作剧。
我说道，
"我不喜欢他们这样玩！
要是妈妈看到了，
天呐，她会怎么说！"

Then our fish said, "Look! Look!"
And our fish shook with fear.
"Your mother is on her way home!
Do you hear?
Oh, what will she do to us?
What will she say?
Oh, she will not like it
To find us this way!"
我们那条鱼也说，"看！快看！"
鱼吓得发抖。
"你们的妈妈正回来呢！
你们听到了吗？
噢，雷晓晨 她会怎么惩罚我们？
她会怎么说？
噢，要是看到我们做的事
她会生气的！"

"So, Do something! Fast!" said the fish.
"Do you hear!
I saw her. Your mother!
Your mother is near!
So, as fast as you can,
Think of something to do!
You will have to get rid of
Thing One and Thing Two!"
"快，想点办法！快点！"金鱼说猫步轻俏。
"听到了吗？
我看到她啦。你们妈妈！
她快到家啦！
快，尽可能的
想点办法！
你们必须赶走
小不点一号和小不点二号！"

So, as fast as I could,
I went after my net.
And I said, "With my net I can get them I bet.
I bet, with my net,
I can get those Things yet!"
于是，我赶快找来我的网
"我肯定能用网抓住他们泰星mai，
一定会的，用我的网，
我会抓住那两个小不点！"我说。

Then I let down my net.
It came down with a PLOP!
And I had them! At last!
Those two things had to stop.
我放下我的网。
"咚"的一下它落下来！
我抓住他们啦！终于抓住了！
两个小不点只好安分下来。

Then Isaid to the cat,
"Now you do as I say.
You pack up those Things
And you take them away!"
我对那只猫说，
"现在你按我说的做。
你把小不点捡起来
拿走！"

"Oh dear!" said the cat.
"You did not like our game…
Oh dear.
What a shame!
What a shame九婴邪仙 !
What a shame!"
"哎呀！"猫说。
"你们不喜欢我们的游戏……"
哎呀黑颜知己，
真可惜！
真可惜！
真可惜！"

Then he shut up the Things
In the box with the hook.
And the cat went away
With a sad kind of look.
他把小不点关在了箱子里
扣上了挂钩。
然后戴高帽的猫走开了
一副闷闷不乐的样子。

"That is good," said the fish.
"He has gone away. Yes.
But your mother will come.
She will find this big mess!
"这就对啦，"金鱼说。
"他走了。这就对啦。
但是你们的妈妈要回来了。
她会发现这里一团糟！"

And this mess is so big
And so deep and so tall,
We can not pick it up.
There is no way at all!"
"一团糟
乱得一团糟。
我们没法都收拾好
没办法！"

And THEN!
Who was back in the house?
Why, the cat!
"Have no fear of this mess,"
Said the cat in the Hat.
突然！
是谁回来了？
咦，是那只猫！
"不用害怕这么乱，"
戴高帽子的猫说。

"I always pick up all my play things
And so…
I will show you another
Good trick that I know!"
"我总能把我的玩具收拾好
而且……
我还要向你们变另外一个
我知道的戏法！"

Then we saw him pick up
All the things that were down.
He picked up the cake,
And the rake, and the gown,
我们看到他
把地上所有的东西都捡了起来。
他捡起了蛋糕，
耙子，还有妈妈的裙子

And the milk, and the strings,
And the books, and the dish,
And the fan, and the cup,
And the ship, and the fish.
和牛奶，绳子
书啦，盘子啦，
扇子啦，杯子啦，
还有玩具船和那条金鱼。

And he put them away.
Then he said, "That is that."
And then he was gone
With a tip of his hat.
他把东西都收拾好之后恐龙革命 。
对我们说："好啦。"
然后他举了举帽子
走了。

Then our mother came in
And she said to us two,
"Did you have any fun?
Tell me. What did you do?"
我们的妈妈回来了
她对我们俩说，
"今天玩得愉快吗？
快告诉我。你们都做了什么？"

And Sally and I did not know
What to say.
Should we tell her
The things that went on there that day?
莎莉和我不知道
